Indian Font Converters

Popular

Type a font name in English or in its own script. Search runs in your browser on a prebuilt index; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Privacy

Your text stays yours.

Short version: conversion happens on your device and we couldn’t read your documents even if we wanted to. We do count visits (cookieless Plausible for everyone, Google Analytics with cookies where allowed), and never with your text. The exceptions (voice typing, some read-aloud voices, and the one-time OCR model download) are spelled out below.

What is stored where

Everything, listed.

Your text and files
Handled in memory in your browser tab (conversion, Word/Excel/PowerPoint and PDF reading, image recognition). Not uploaded, not logged by us.Where: Nowhere (not stored by us)
Last text you typed (convenience)
Converters, keyboards, phonetic typing, the font detector and the voice typing box keep your most recent text, and the voice-typing language, so a refresh doesn’t lose them.Where: Your browser’s sessionStorage (keys starting “ifc:”). Cleared when the tab closes.
Visit counts: Plausible (no cookies)
Each page view, and on leaving a page how far you scrolled and how long it was in view, goes to our own self-hosted Plausible Analytics through this site’s address (/_e/). It holds the page address (campaign tags kept, other query details removed), the referring page, and your browser’s user agent and IP address. Plausible uses them to work out an approximate location (country, region, city), the browser, system and device type, and a visitor ID that changes every day; it does not store the IP address or user agent themselves. No cookies, nothing kept in your browser, no personal data stored.Where: Our Plausible server (Plausible Community Edition, run by us). No third party receives it.
Visit statistics: Google Analytics 4 (cookies)
Where it runs (see “Analytics” below), Google Analytics records the pages you view (address with campaign tags only, page title, referring page) and how you use them, the time spent, your device, browser, screen and language, and an approximate location that Google derives from your IP address. Google says GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Cookies: _ga and _ga_TTSLBWCPBS, holding a random ID, kept for up to 2 years. Google keeps the data for 14 months.Where: Google (Google Analytics 4). Cookies on this site’s domain.
Your cookie choice
When you click Accept or Decline, the choice is remembered for 180 days, then you are asked again.Where: Your browser’s localStorage (key “ifc-consent”). Stays until it expires or you clear site data.
Theme and typing progress
The light/dark mode you pick, and your best typing-test speed and typing-tutor accuracy per exercise. Nothing is sent anywhere.Where: Your browser’s localStorage (keys “ifc:theme”, “ifc:typing:…” and “ifc:tutor:…”). Stays until you clear site data.
Offline copy of the site
A service worker keeps recently visited pages and the site’s own scripts, styles and fonts so converters keep working without a connection. It never touches requests to other sites, and no text you convert passes through it.Where: Your browser’s Cache Storage (bounded in size, replaced on each site update).
Image to text (OCR): language model
The recognition engine is served from this site. The first time you press Recognise, your browser downloads one language model (0.5 to 12.4 MB, depending on the language) from the jsDelivr CDN. That request tells jsDelivr your IP address, browser and the model’s file name, like any download. The image or PDF itself is never sent. Your browser keeps the model so later runs don’t repeat the download.Where: jsDelivr receives the model request. The model is kept in your browser’s IndexedDB (database “keyval-store”).
Voice typing (an exception)
The Voice typing tool uses your browser’s speech recognition. Chrome sends the audio to Google’s servers to turn it into text; other browsers use their own vendor’s service. We never receive the audio or the text, but the browser vendor does. The tool only listens after you click its microphone button, and the microphone is allowed on that page only.Where: Sent by your browser to the browser vendor. Nothing is kept by us.
Read aloud (an exception for some voices)
The Text to speech tool uses the voices your browser or operating system offers. Voices that run on your device keep the text there. Some voices (for example the online voices in Chrome and Edge) send the text to the vendor’s servers. The tool labels each voice as on-device or online. We never receive the text.Where: On-device voices: nowhere. Online voices: sent by your browser to the voice’s vendor.
Fonts and scripts
Typefaces and the site’s own scripts are served from this site’s files. No request goes to a font service or an ad network. The one outside script is Google Analytics (gtag.js from googletagmanager.com), and only where it runs.Where: Your browser cache
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. A small Cloudflare Worker of ours serves the pages, passes the Plausible requests on, and reads the country Cloudflare derives from your IP address only to decide whether to show the cookie banner. The Worker stores nothing and keeps no logs.Where: Cloudflare (hosting provider)
Email you send us
If you write to us (for example to request a font), we receive your email address and what you wrote, and use it only to reply and to fix the problem.Where: Our mailbox

Analytics

Two ways we count visits.

Plausible runs for everyone. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data, and its requests go to this site’s own address (/_e/), which passes them to our self-hosted Plausible server.

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies (_ga and _ga_TTSLBWCPBS, up to 2 years). In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland it loads only after you click Accept in the cookie banner; the banner is shown only there. Everywhere else it is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time under Cookie settings (also in the footer). If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it stays off unless you accept it yourself. Your country, which Cloudflare derives from your IP address, is used only to decide whether to show the banner; it is not stored.

Neither tool sees what you type, paste or convert. Page addresses are sent without their query details (campaign tags excepted), because some of those can hold text you typed. Analytics runs only on indianfontconverters.com.

Third parties

Only where you use the feature.

No ads or social widgets run on this site. The only outside services are those in the table above: Google Analytics (where it runs, as described), jsDelivr (OCR language model, on first use), your browser’s speech services (voice typing, and online read-aloud voices) and Cloudflare (hosting). Links to other sites, such as the official sources cited in guides, are ordinary links; those sites have their own policies. The credits page lists the open-source software and data this site is built on.

Don’t take our word for it

Check it yourself in 30 seconds.

  1. Open your browser’s developer tools (F12) and go to the Network tab.
  2. Paste text or choose a Word file and convert it.
  3. Watch the list: no request carries your text. You will see the page-view requests to /_e/ and, where it runs, to Google Analytics; they carry the page address, never what you convert. Better still, turn your internet off after the page loads and convert again. (Voice typing and online read-aloud voices are the exceptions, as described above.)
