Tamil has a good Google Fonts range from Noto and Hind Madurai to Catamaran, Pavanam and the handwriting-style Kavivanar. Many Tamil publishers still use legacy fonts like Bamini and TSCII; those must be converted to Unicode first.
The 11 families here include 6 sans serif, 2 serif, 2 display, 1 handwriting. Everything below is licensed under the SIL OFL, so you can use the fonts in commercial work, and each designer is credited in the table.
