Questions about this page
Which Punjabi keyboard is this?
AnmolLipi, the layout shared by the AnmolLipi and GurbaniAkhar fonts, run through the converter engine’s `anmollipi` profile. Your keys become Unicode Gurmukhi, which is then compared with the passage. It is not the Gurmukhi InScript layout.
Do I need the AnmolLipi font?
No. The font is only needed if you want to paste raw AnmolLipi keystrokes into a document. The test shows and scores Unicode.
What about ਨੂੰ, which is one glyph in the font?
In the font it is a single character reached with an Alt code. The test uses the plain keys n, U and M, which give the same Unicode, so you can type it on any keyboard.
Is the Punjabi proofread?
Not yet by a native speaker. The passages were checked for typability on this layout, not for style. Please report any error you find.
